LAVIEW III Charging and discharging a capacitor

In the following year using the NI-DAQ USB-6008 from National Instruments for loading and discharging of a capacitor all controlled from LabVIEW 2010. Thanks to the analog inputs of the DAQ can see how it charges and discharges the capacitor.

Protoboar use a plate to put a capacitor and a resistor. The blade is the capacitor is the resistance. Between this pin and the resistance is placed DAQ analog input to do the reading. At the other end of the resistance put DAQ digital output. To put the pin end unless we put the GND capacitor given by the DAQ.

The VI is divided into two parts, a write and a read. The operation is as follows.

One button controls the writing on a digital channel. When writing a logical 1 on the digital output will have a 5v voltage which charges the capacitor. Rewriting we have a logical 0 voltage capacitor 0v and ceased to have strain. With a button which will control the charging and discharging of the capacitor.

The next part of VI controls the reading of analog channel which is connected to the positive lead of the capacitor. With some controls can be configured as we read the data. Number of samples that we read, the number of samples per channel, etc..

The reading is done continuously through a while and are plotted on a graph may look like this in real time charging and discharging of the capacitor.
